The PSOE's electoral campaign moved to the capital's Calle Real this Tuesday. There was the socialist candidate for the Senate for Lanzarote, Ariagona González, accompanied by the head of the formation's list for Congress for the province of Las Palmas, Chano Franquis. Together with other members of the party, such as Cristina Duque, also from Lanzarote, who occupies the fifth position on the provincial list for Congress, and the general secretary of the socialists on the island, they have distributed leaflets and asked for votes for the next 26-J.
Coinciding with this tour of this commercial area of the city, the party has emphasized its measures to "support the commercial fabric, the self-employed and entrepreneurs, who largely sustain the country's economy and constitute the middle class most affected by the crisis."
Within the socialist campaign on the island, the vice president of the autonomous Executive, Patricia Hernández, will take advantage of her visit this Friday, June 17, to the Social Services of the Arrecife City Council to, at its conclusion, "send a message of confidence to the Lanzarote electorate" and ask for the vote for González and Duque, according to socialists in a statement.
The also Minister of Employment and Social Policies defends that the PSOE, both in local and regional governments and at the national level, "is the only real guarantor of protection for the weakest and we have demonstrated this by maintaining social emergency aid and basic public services, despite the cuts of the Popular Party."
Already on Saturday, in the middle of the campaign, the PSOE deputy and LGBT activist Carla Antonelli, will speak at a rally party at the Casa del Miedo, in the Charco de San Ginés, to defend the "Yes for real integration and equal rights".
