The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Consumer Area directed by Aroa Revelo, has decided to temporarily move the Attention Office for consumer matters this Friday. This initiative is carried out on the occasion of the celebration of World Consumer Rights Day, with the aim of bringing island management in this field closer to one of the busiest areas of the island's capital.

Aroa Revelo explained that, during the day, the office will be on León y Castillo street in Arrecife, specifically next to the Casa Amarilla. “With this action, we want to promote the dissemination of the rights that the population of Lanzarote has, in addition to informing them of the ways to exercise them. The Island Consumer Assistance Office will be open during its usual hours from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The counselor emphasizes that "one of the rights of consumers is to receive the necessary information to be able to make a correct choice of goods and services", in addition to "doing so at a competitive price." She also highlights that “citizens have a leading role when it comes to defending our rights and demanding quality products”.

The Cabildo reminds that this service is usually provided at the Island Consumer Assistance Office located on Avenida Fred Olsen, s/n, as well as through the telephone number 928.803.367 and the email [email protected]
