The good weather will prevail in the Islands during the entire Christmas weekend, with unchanged temperatures, no rain and slightly cloudy skies in most of the Archipelago, according to ACN Press.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for this December 24 some cloudy intervals in the westernmost islands and a predominance of slightly cloudy skies in the eastern islands. Temperatures will not undergo significant changes.

Likewise, the wind will blow from the north component weak in general with periods of weak variable winds and with some local interval of moderate in the eastern islands from the afternoon.

On December 25 there will be some cloudy intervals in most of the Archipelago and temperatures will experience a slight increase. The wind from the north component will blow from weak to moderate.

On Sunday, slightly cloudy skies will prevail in the south of the Archipelago, while in the north of the larger islands, somewhat cloudier skies will prevail. In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the predominant note will be cloudy intervals, with unchanged temperatures.

No winds in Lanzarote this Thursday

On the other hand, the gusts of wind in Lanzarote this Thursday have not exceeded, for the moment, 24 kilometers per hour, despite the yellow alert decreed for coastal phenomena and winds in all the islands. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicted gusts of wind between 70 and 75 kilometers for this Thursday, but Lanzarote has woken up with a very mild climate.

The highest gust of wind recorded has been 24 kilometers per hour, which was recorded at 6:00 a.m. at the Guacimeta airport weather station. Rainfall has not reached the island either.
