The Arrecife City Council has deployed all its personnel since Friday afternoon to reopen the streets after the significant downpour that fell this noon in the city.
As they have announced in a press release, "at this time, the streets affected by the floods have been reopened to traffic." They also point out that the council has deployed all its personnel to clean the entire municipality.
The mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, who from the first moment, after the downpour, has been in the streets of the city coordinating the entire operation, appreciates "the rapid work and dedication of all the Areas and councilors, all public workers, the staff of the concessionaire companies of the services, personnel of the Local Police of Arrecife, Civil Protection Arrecife Security and Emergency Consortium, of the Cabildo, volunteers and NGOs, personnel from all the municipalities of the island, and all the citizens who have intervened in this day to join in the assistance we are providing to the community."
Finally, they report that "no personal injuries have been registered and announce that "the city has already returned to normal in its roads and public spaces."
