A total of 330 families residing in the municipality of Arrecife have applied for school material aid called by the Arrecife City Council for the 2019/2020 academic year. The Social Services Area of the Arrecife City Council has allocated an item of 50,000 euros so that families can cope with the expenses of textbooks, school supplies and uniforms.

With the new government group, which took office on June 15, the Arrecife City Council opened on August 26, with the publication in the BOP, a line of aid aimed at the acquisition of textbooks, school supplies, uniforms and sportswear for the current academic year.
All interested persons had until September 30 to register their application. Procedure that could be done in person at the Social Services offices or at the Town Hall headquarters.
