The Haría City Council has denounced that the Cabildo of Lanzarote has removed several protest banners about the conflict of the Tourist Centers, which had been placed in Mala. The Consistory had placed these posters in this town, where this Thursday the first island corporation has presented the Cochinilla Transformation Center to the businessmen of the sector.

Within the protest campaign that the northern City Council is carrying out, it had also installed some banners in front of the center, where you could read "Los Jameos and La Cueva belong to Haría" or "Please, don't ruin us". However, according to what has been denounced, these posters have been removed by the personnel present at this event.

For the Haría City Council, which has not been invited to this event, which, in its opinion, "demonstrates the sectarianism and lack of institutional courtesy of the event organizers", the removal of the posters is "a censorship of freedom of expression".

Thus, it has shown its concern for the "insensitivity and intolerance of those responsible for the Cabildo, who intend to put out the fire by adding gasoline". "The municipality of Haría is not going to cease in its efforts to continue claiming what corresponds to it by justice and is not going to spare efforts, neither economic nor human, in achieving the marked objective, which is none other than the collection of the amounts owed," declared the mayor of Haría, José Torres Stinga.
