The municipal group of Coalición Canaria (CC) in Yaiza has urged the mayor, Óscar Noda, “to fulfill first the duties that he has pending from the past term, if he really wants to improve mobility in the municipality as he has tried to stage in these days”.
The nationalist municipal spokesperson, Emilio Machín, has assured that in his time as Councilor for Transportation he "prepared the land transfer, the main and indispensable prior step for the installation of a canopy in El Golfo, as well as a study on the ideal place for its location, but the mayor stopped the process, we do not know why”.
Therefore, the nationalist formation has recommended to Óscar Noda that “instead of spending his time promoting himself in the media by claiming demands that CC already unsuccessfully addressed to the Cabildo under the presidency of the socialist María Dolores Corujo in the past term, he should dedicate himself to facilitating the work by ceding municipal land once and for all, an essential condition for the installation of canopies in the towns where they are needed".
