CC.OO calls for consensus to resolve the public school conflict

The Canarian Trade Union Council, the highest governing body of Comisiones Obreras Canarias, considered it appropriate to approve a resolution insisting on appealing to common sense, flexibility and dialogue, since the Canarian public school needs a climate of consensus to search for solutions.

The resolution was agreed during the development of the last ordinary session, after analyzing and widely debating the situation that has been experienced this school year in the non-university public education sector and in view of the start of the next school year with an unresolved conflict, which may affect the entire educational community and the future of the Canarian public school

Climate of consensus

"The Canarian public school needs a climate of consensus to search for solutions that truly make its dignification and improvement possible and in which not only the entire educational community but also the main political and social forces of the Canary Islands must be involved", they pointed out from the union, from which the general secretary of CC.OO, Ramón Barroso, urged all entities to explore new solutions for the conflict of the Canarian public school.
