Almost a hundred days since the Socialist Party and Party of Independents of Lanzarote took over the reins of the Arrecife City Council, the Canarian Coalition already has reason to read them the riot act because it considers that the management has been, during this time, "more based on words than on deeds", although at the end of the diatribe they have extended their hand "for the second time". The spokesperson for CC in the capital, Luis Morales, has focused his criticism on the "political couple" formed by the mayor of Arrecife, Enrique Pérez Parrilla, and the deputy mayor, Antonio Hernández, whom he has described as "two men without a destiny". "They are morning dreamers who at twelve noon, fatigue and sleep have exhausted them," he said.
Political couple that, for Luis Morales, is made up of two men who are walking towards "different directions". And to justify his criticism, he has referred to the statements made regarding issues such as the General Plan of Arrecife and the Internment Center, on which he understands that they have positioned themselves differently.
The shopping center of the warehouse of the Spínola group, supposedly illegal, is for CC "the most worrying issue", in the face of which the Government group "is hiding what refers to this company and to its scandalous affairs". In this sense, the nationalist party has felt "obliged to ask if they have any relationship with this company". "Why has nothing been done regarding the complaint made by Felapyme?", Luis Morales has demanded.
For the paralyzed works of the civic center, the municipal nursery, the Sports Palace or the Altavista Swimming Pool, the management of the new Government group has been given the qualification "inoperative". The spokesperson for CC highlighted that it will cost "30,000 euros per month to keep the pool closed and unused". For the future of La Rocar, the character of the "political couple" has been branded as "adventurous". "What was going to be an immediate demolition has become a long negotiation". In this regard, the spokesperson has pointed out that the PIL has prevented Antonio Hernández from attending "important meetings on the future of Arrecife". "Of the three meetings that have been held, he has only been present at one".
In conclusion, for the Canarian Coalition it is a policy "of refusing everything", without stopping to analyze anything, and with an "inoperative" management. Along with other media issues that have splashed the Government group of the Arrecife City Council, such as the alleged meal in the Castle of San José, "at the expense of the capital Corporation", the balance has served for the Canarian Coalition to recommend that "they be transparent, that they start working and that they insult and eat less".
