The Board of Directors of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers has approved the appointment of Benjamín Perdomo as the new CEO of the Entity in the course of the Extraordinary and Urgent session this Friday.

Benjamín Perdomo replaces Juan Félix Eugenio in the position, who presented his resignation this week, which was conveyed to the Board during the session.

The new CEO of the Centers assumes "excitedly the personal and professional challenge of managing one of the most important and meaningful companies on the island." Perdomo assures that he will maintain the line of work initiated by the current Government group "to restore coherence, transparency and procedural rigor in daily management, and respect and dignity to the workers and the spatial work of César Manrique himself, which should never have been lost."

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and of the Board of Directors of the Centers, María Dolores Corujo, is convinced that "Benjamín Perdomo's enthusiasm, his leadership and ability to transmit innovative ideas and make a real team, and his respect for the work of César Manrique and those who represent it are, without a doubt, a great guarantee to face the management of the public company with guarantees."

María Dolores Corujo ended the session with words of gratitude to Juan Félix Eugenio, regretting the "brutal harassment campaign to which he has been subjected by certain political formations and some media outlets", and wishing him the best of luck in the personal and professional field.
