The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has extended the yellow warnings for high temperatures also for the beginning of next week in Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
Specifically, to the yellow warning for temperatures of up to 37 degrees in Lanzarote, two new yellow warnings for heat are added for Monday and Tuesday.
It should be remembered that the island has been on pre-alert for high temperatures since 11:00 AM this Sunday.
AEMET has indicated that temperatures of up to 34 degrees are expected on both islands for the central hours of this Monday, between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
While, for both Monday and Tuesday, temperatures of up to 37 degrees could occur locally, although it is most likely that the maximums will generally be 34.
It should be remembered that the islands are also in a season of high solar radiation, posing a risk to the population.
