A person was found deceased this Monday inside a home in La Graciosa, according to the Lanzarote Security and Emergencies Consortium.

The alert was received around 7:08 PM due to a possible medical emergency at a residence on the island, activating the Romeo 3 unit in a level 3 service. Upon the arrival of the personnel, at 7:13 PM, several neighbors had already managed to partially access the home after opening a window.

The responding officers entered the property and proceeded to open the main door to facilitate access for healthcare resources. During the initial check of the affected person, emergency services confirmed that they had no pulse.

Minutes later, the doctor from La Graciosa arrived, who confirmed the death and declared the exitus.

Local Police officers, an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), as well as a doctor and nurse from the island's health center also intervened in the operation.

The unit remained at the scene collaborating with the Local Police until the completion of the appropriate proceedings, in the absence of Judicial Police in La Graciosa.
