The Arrecife City Council has organized two book presentations this week at the Agustín de la Hoz House of Culture, both starting at 7:00 p.m.
On the one hand, this Wednesday, March 13, the Galician researcher, therapist, and writer, based in Lanzarote, Ana María Angueira, will present 'The Kiss of Venus', a work of fiction that unites different moments in history through astrological events until reaching the present; and that links circumstances and figures from ancient Egypt, Jesus of Nazareth, Miriam of Magdala or Titeroy-Gatra and the birth of Lanzarote.
On the other hand, on Thursday, March 14, the Madrid author Carmen Polo will present 'Adventures and Misadventures of a 20th Century Woman', a book that narrates the vicissitudes of the young Marta, painfully evicted from her house, forced to move quickly, and who in her new home, where she settles with her four-legged companion, has to deal with neighbors with mental disorders, which leads her to delve into her inner universe to find answers to her emotional gaps in her work and personal relationships.
