Aminatur Haidar pointed out upon leaving the General Hospital of Lanzarote, before heading to the Lanzarote airport to take a flight to El Aaiún, that her return home means "a triumph, a victory for International Law, for Human Rights and for justice for the Saharawi cause."
The activist, who appeared before the media in a wheelchair, effusively congratulated civil society, the Platform and also congratulated all the media for their perseverance.
Haidar, who will travel only accompanied by her sister and a doctor, pointed out that "for the moment she does not have much confidence about this trip", although she assured "that she will not get off the plane" if she has an episode similar to the one fifteen days ago, where once inside the plane she had to return because the Moroccan authorities did not give the flight the required permission.
"The first thing I will do when I arrive in El Aaiún is hug my children and my mother", said the activist in perfect Spanish.
