This Sunday, Amadeo Martín Medina, the former councilor of the Yaiza City Council, passed away. His body was found lifeless inside his home, in the town of Uga, early in the morning. The Department of Culture and Festivities of the southern Consistory decided to suspend the Christmas events scheduled for Sunday, as a sign of mourning.
The funeral of the former councilor was held this Monday afternoon in the church of Yaiza. Amadeo Martín Medina was a councilor in the Yaiza Municipal Corporation between 1995 and 1999, holding the Department of Culture and Festivities.
