The current president of Nueva Canarias de Lanzarote, Alejandro Díaz, has been designated as the candidate of this party to head the list for the Arrecife City Council, in view of the elections in May 2015.
Last week it was the Local Committee of Arrecife of Nueva Canarias who appointed the Electoral Committee of this town for the designation of the candidate and now, this body has chosen Alejandro Díaz to head its list in the capital.

The Secretary of Organization of Nueva Canarias, Armando Santana, positively values the election of Alejandro Díaz as a candidate for the Arrecife City Council and states that "it is a luxury for Nueva Canarias to have a candidate of this category, a close and highly prepared person, capable of solving and giving way to the countless problems that the third capital of the Canary Islands is going through".
