A boat with more than 30 immigrants on board, including men, women and children, arrived near six in the afternoon this Sunday at Playa de Las Conchas, on the Island of La Graciosa, north of Lanzarote, as reported to ACN Press by sources from the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
It was the Local Police who alerted of the arrival of a boat to the smallest island of the Canary Islands, located in the Chinijo Archipelago. According to the immigrants themselves, there were about 33 people in the boat, although for now about 20 have been detained.
The health status of the immigrants is still unknown, as well as the number of women and children who were in the boat.
It should be remembered that this morning two boats with 50 immigrants arrived at the port of Naos, in Arrecife de Lanzarote, and another arrived at the port of Arguineguín in Gran Canaria with 61 sub-Saharans. Also yesterday a cayuco arrived at Playa Santiago, La Gomera, with 118 immigrants, so the number of Africans arriving to the Islands this weekend amounts to more than 260.
