The Catalan tourist who tested positive for coronavirus while in La Graciosa left the eighth island this Friday and was transferred to Lanzarote, where she will continue in isolation. Emerlan personnel were in charge of the transfer by boat, with strict security measures to avoid contagion.

Along with the affected woman, the friend with whom she was on vacation also traveled. In her case, she tested negative in the PCR test, although in a few days the analysis will be repeated and in the meantime she must also remain in isolation.

Initially, the Ministry of Health announced that both would remain in the apartment they had rented in La Graciosa, although it was finally decided to transfer them to Lanzarote. Now, both will stay in one of the establishments that were made available to the Cabildo from the beginning of the health crisis.
