The Librada Hall in Arrecife hosts the performance of the play "The Fool is a Wise Man" by the Amateur Group of the Arrecife Theater Studio (GATEA) on May 21st and 22nd, for the benefit of the Red Cross.

Thus, those who attend the event, which will take place at 9:00 p.m. on Friday and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, will be able to see the play for 5 euros, in addition to taking a ticket for the Gold Draw of the Red Cross, thus opting for one of the 1,320 prizes, with a first prize of 110 kilos of gold or its equivalent in cash, which is equivalent to about 3.5 million euros.

In this way, you collaborate with the projects that the Red Cross develops on the island. In addition, if the ticket is not a winner, you enter a draw for a trip for two people to visit an international cooperation project of the Red Cross.

A work of misunderstandings and humor

"The Fool is a Wise Man" tells the story of a scientist who stays in a hotel, suffering a change of room in which a young painter and his girlfriend lived. In addition, there is a gang that wants to kidnap the scientist. This situation produces great confusions and misunderstandings, which make the viewer spend moments of great humor and much laughter.

Tickets are already on sale at the Red Cross headquarters in Lanzarote (Vía Medular s/n de Arrecife), from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and can also be purchased at the box office one hour before the event.
