A total of 60 motorcyclists from all over the Canary Archipelago will participate this Saturday, April 28 in the third phase of the Ruta Canarias 88, a popular non-competitive tourist route that aims to travel by motorcycle through each of the eighty-eight municipalities that make up the Canary Islands.
This third stage, called Ruta Lanzarote 7, will kick off in the municipality of Arrecife, to then travel by motorcycle through each of the seven municipalities that make up the island, as reported by the Arrecife City Council.
"Motorcycle tourism is another tourist option that helps us to promote our island and our municipality, appealing, of course, to a responsible use of the motorcycle," said the Councilor for Tourism, Rafael Juan González.
The participants plan to make a five-minute stop in front of the Castle of San Gabriel, one of the most emblematic symbols of the capital, to immortalize their passage through the municipality with a photograph. The appointment will be on Saturday, April 28 at approximately 09:30 hours.
Ruta Canarias 88 is an initiative of Canariasenmoto.com, which consists of a motorcycle tour of the seven Canary Islands in the approximate period of one week with the aim of visiting the urban centers of the 88 municipalities. In this way, the Canary Islands are promoted as an ideal tourist destination to enjoy touring by motorcycle throughout the year, thanks to its spring climate.
