Three flights that were scheduled to land this Thursday at noon in Lanzarote had to be diverted as a result of the storm that hit the island.

As confirmed by Aena, one of the flights, with a shared code from Iberia and Vueling, came from Madrid and had to be diverted to Fuerteventura, with the expectation that it would depart to Lanzarote as soon as the weather improved.

As for the other two affected flights, one from Binter and the other from CanaryFly, they returned to Gran Canaria, the island from which they had taken off shortly before.

Also, an EasyJet flight had to circle over Lanzarote during the storm, although it was finally able to land on the island.
