With great solemnity, the residents of Los Valles celebrated the festival of their patron saint, Saint Anthony of Padua, whose image paraded in procession along the main street of the town.
At 7:00 p.m. and presided over by Nicanor Bermúdez, titular parish priest of the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Teguise, the Holy Mass began, a very special and festive celebration sung by the members of the Iris del Mar polyphonic choir, from the seaside neighborhood of Valterra, which was also joined by the voices of the parishioners who participated in the celebration.
Once finished, the procession presided over by the image of Saint Anthony of Padua was launched, carried this time by the former mayor of Teguise and resident of Los Valles, Juan Pedro Hernández, and the current mayor, Oswaldo Betancort. Next was the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with the celebrating parish priest Nicanor Bermúdez and the residents of the town, who toured the main street of Los Valles.
After the procession, the residents moved to the socio-cultural center to enjoy the performance of the young singer Daniel Moisés, who for the occasion had the collaboration of his great friend and guitarist, Celso Betancort, the Baila Conmigo Lanzarote School and the young singer Virginia Cedrés.
