The Data Center of the Cabildo of Lanzarote has just published the report 'Lanzarote in figures 2023', a bilingual publication, aimed at the general public, which provides a global view with statistical information on the island in aspects such as population, society, tourism, employment, economy or the environment.
This is an annual document that serves to know the latest indicators of the island of Lanzarote, a work that has been valued very positively by the counselor herself. "It is impossible to decide what actions to take and, consequently, what direction to mark the future of the island, if we do not know the real situation from which we start. And this report gives us a photograph of objective data and figures with which to work. In that sense, I want to congratulate the entire work team of the Data Center for their work," said Ascensión Toledo.
Almost 3,000 more inhabitants than in 2022
