Photos: Sergio Betancort The proclamation by the Tolosa Machín sisters kicked off the Caleta de Famara festivities on Friday night, which will run until September 1, when the land-sea procession will take place in honor of the Sacred Heart of Mary.
A Calicanto concert preceded the proclamation, which kicked off at 9 p.m. on the pier. After the reading, there was a parade with the cumbacheros, giants and big heads through the town, closing the night with the concert of the group Arrímate al Queré.
The program continued on Saturday where, at 10 am, the IV Famara Games were held, while at 5 pm the Vívelo Festival Famara 2019 took place.
On Sunday, "La Caleta Express" was held, a treasure hunt through the streets of the town, there were women's skate and ball championships at the Sociocultural Center and the Children's Play Back "Los Chirrimiles" took place in the pier area.
