The Canary Islands Association of Urban Law has presented this Thursday the "Acadur 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award" posthumously to César Manrique, coinciding with the centenary of the artist's birth and the Congress that the association is celebrating this week on the island.
The event took place in the Assembly Hall of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, where the president and director of the César Manrique Foundation, José Juan Ramírez and Fernando Gómez Aguilera, attended, to whom the heads of Acadur presented the award.

The association is celebrating its XI Congress in Lanzarote, under the heading "Landscape: perspective, resource, conflict". The conference began this Wednesday and will culminate on Friday, after bringing together experts in land and urban planning from all over the Canary Islands.

They have also been joined by relevant speakers from other parts of the State, who during these three days are analyzing the latest regulatory, jurisprudential and administrative practice developments in matters of urban planning and land management and their impact on the landscape, its territorial and economic dimension and the conflicts that are generated.
