The Teguise City Council has joined the bottle cap collection campaign launched by the family of Ismael Rosario and the Iraitza Tapones Solidarios Association, in order to obtain funding to adapt the vehicle in which the 9-year-old child, a student at the CEIP Doctor Alfonso Spínola in Villa de Teguise, travels. As explained by the Council, the child has lived since a few days after his birth with one of the so-called rare diseases and has 98% of his mobility affected, so he requires constant assistance and help.
To achieve the goal of reaching 48,000 kilos of bottle caps, the Teguise City Council has made an appeal to citizens, so that the entire island of Lanzarote can achieve the challenge of collecting the necessary bottle caps before March 24 for this charitable purpose.
For this, new collection points have been enabled in the municipality: Teguise City Council (Santo Domingo street, 1, from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.); La Graciosa Municipal Office from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; CEIP Dr. Alfonso Spínola from Monday to Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.; Lola Children's School.
