Salvamar has rescued a boat with 45 people in the early morning and is searching for others near Lanzarote, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The boat has been transferred to the Commercial Dock where they have been assisted by the Red Cross.
Among its occupants are six minors and two women, all of them in good health.
