The Tías Municipal Theater hosted this Friday the Míster Puerto del Carmen 2015 Gala, in which Rubén Hernández was chosen as the winner. Josué Hernández was chosen as first finalist and also took the Míster Simpatía band. The second finalist award went to young Maikel Zeng Trujillo. For his part, Elio Figuroa Guadalupe won the title of Míster Elegancia.
Ten young men competed for the title and paraded on stage several times, dressed in gala attire, sportswear and swimwear, before the audience that came to enjoy the gala, which was organized for the first time in the municipality.
These were not the only awards presented during the night. Alejandro Ramírez won the title of Míster Fotogenia, while Artístides Martín was chosen Míster Popular through an internet vote that received more than 16,000 votes.
The gala featured performances by El Caballero del Romance, Miguel Medina, singer Almudena Hernández, the Baila conmigo Lanzarote school and a performance by Sentimiento con Arte.
Gala dedicated to colleagues who could not participate
In addition, the ten finalists of the contest dedicated the night to their colleague Gaby Do Santo, who due to an arm injury could not participate with his colleagues, and also to his colleague Musa, who could not attend for work reasons.
The jury was formed by Lauren Arreyes, Míster Arrecife 2014, Rayco Montelongo, personal trainer, José Arístides, Míster Elegancia Arrecife 2014, designer Oswaldo Machín, Nieves Aparicio, who was first Lady of Honor of Miss Spain 1982, Alex, from M&G Fotoart, Peluqueria Soraya Andreus, Miguel Betancor, Almudena Morales and Azu Villas. Irina Lemes González acted as secretary of the jury. The organization of the contest was carried out by the designer Rubén Pérez and IMG.
