Rafael Díaz, who was for years the general secretary of Hospitality and Commerce of CCOO in Lanzarote, has died this Tuesday, at the age of 53, after being the victim of a heart attack, as confirmed by sources close to him.
Currently, Rafael Díaz, who was popularly known as 'Falo', was the Secretary of Organization of the Local Committee of CC of Tías and was part of the Insular Political Council of the party.
"Today is a sad day for the entire Coalición Canaria family. A great colleague has left us," said the general secretary of CC Lanzarote, Migdalia Machín, showing "her "sadness and that of the entire party for the sudden death of one of its most active members." Machín also conveyed her deepest condolences "to the entire Tías Committee and, especially, to his family and friends."
According to CC, those interested in sending their condolences may do so from 6:00 p.m. at the Mémora Lanzarote Funeral Home.
