Playa Blanca said goodbye to the Fiestas del Carmen this weekend. Music, tradition and gastronomy served as the culmination of these festivities that have been taking place in the southern tourist town since July 14.
The Tebete band and the Raíces group were in charge of providing the traditional music in the Canarian tenderete that was held last Friday, July 23, at the La Aurora Neighborhood Association. Hundreds of residents of Playa Blanca came to this place to enjoy an event that lasted until late at night, in which music, traditions and gastronomy of the archipelago came together.
On Saturday night, the traditional popular barbecue, enlivened by the Lanzarote Swing group, brought down the curtain on the festive events and urged the residents of Playa Blanca to experience the Fiestas del Carmen next year.
