The Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of the Cabildo de Lanzarote have scheduled chamber and opera concerts, coinciding with the Easter holiday period.
The Castle of San José will host on the night of this Saturday, March 27, a clarinet and piano concert with the performance of Marta Curbelo, and Javier Díaz, on the piano. Tomas Tytlak, initially planned in the program with his cello, will be replaced by Marta Curbelo and her clarinet. The concert will begin at 9:30 p.m. Tickets for these chamber concerts at the Castle of San José, within the spring program "Music in the Museum", cost 8 euros.
Scores by Verdi, Donizetti, Gounod and F. Cilea, among others, will be performed by tenor Juan Manuel Padrón and soprano Nora Carrasco. Ricardo Francia will be on the piano in a dinner with opera, which will feature comments and an introduction by Isabel Costes.
The musical program includes a concert with the performance of the baritone from the Royal Opera House and Govent Garden, John Morgan, who will be accompanied by the famous pianist Kim Colvill. This concert, with famous opera arias, ballads and songs from Broadway musicals, will be on Saturday, April 3, at 8:30 p.m., in the auditorium of La Cueva de los Verdes. Tickets for this event cost 15 euros.
Also, attendees can enjoy a special dinner at Los Jameos del Agua that same night. The concert in the Cueva de los Verdes, plus the visit and dinner, will cost 60 euros.
