Controversy in the previous edition
The [previous edition->http://www.lavozdelanzarote.com/Carta-de-amor-a-un-trapezoide-gana] was famous for the plagiarism that the winning author made when presenting the work "Love letter to a trapezoid". After the jury's decision, it was discovered that the letter he had presented was not his, but from a professor of mathematics.
Although it was proven that the letter was not his own, the author denied that he had plagiarized it and in an interview he gave to La Voz de Lanzarote, he assured that [he had not "plagiarized but improved" the poem->http://www.lavozdelanzarote.com/spip.php?page=imprimir&id_article=17778]. It is possible that this year, one of the 110 letters submitted is his, since last year the writer assured that he would present himself in the next edition.
