A total of 123 participants and more than 100 dogs participated last Saturday, June 9, in the third edition of PerRUNos, a family race/walk with dogs organized by the Huella A Huella Association in collaboration with the El Pueblo de Las Coloradas Shopping Center (Playa Blanca).
This race arose "with the idea of promoting adoptions and that is why other associations on the island are invited to participate and all the money raised is distributed among them", explain from Huella a Huella, from where they point out that this year, thanks to the participants, it has been possible to distribute 738 euros among the attending associations, which were The Kennel Klub, Grupo Animalia and Asociación Animal ARUNA.
During the event, a catwalk of dogs for adoption was also held, in which Sherlock, India, Skye and Sparky paraded, by the volunteers of the association The Kennel Klub and Rocky Balboa, Adele, Isel and Laia, by the volunteers of the association Huella A Huella.
Winners
In the men's category, the winner was Antonio Jesús with Tairy, while in second place was Alejandro with Timo and in third Germán with Darwin. Teresita, with her dog Neska, was the winner in the women's category, followed by Pia with Musolini and Lily with Rocky. In the children's category, the winner was Nadia with Blacky, with Lucas with Laia in second place and Nicolás with Oda in third place.
From Huella a Huella they emphasize that, "thanks to the great collaboration of the sponsors who have turned to support this cause, the participants took fantastic gifts just for registering, and the winners great prizes." In addition, a raffle was held "with which everyone left more than happy, mainly the furry ones."
