Maritime Rescue has gone to the rescue of another boat 22 miles from Lanzarote this Saturday morning.

There were 52 people of sub-Saharan origin on board, all of them in apparent good health. Among them are six women and a child.

The rescue was carried out by the crew of the Salvamar Al Nair and the boat it assisted departed this Friday from the Moroccan coast of Tan Tan.

In an attempt to locate it, the Maritime Rescue center in Las Palmas diverted several ships to possible positions and at 8.45 am this Saturday, the ship San Agustín reported that after checking an echo on the radar it spotted a pneumatic adrift. The Las Palmas center has asked him to escort her until the arrival of the Salvamar Al Nair, whose crew rescued her at 9.20 am.

This would be the fourth boat of the weekend, after the two rescued in the early hours of Friday in which a girl and a woman died, and the one that arrived by its own means in the town of Los Ancones in the afternoon.
