Lanzarote says goodbye to the year with clouds and isolated precipitation

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) foresees cloudy skies with some morning intervals in the northeast and the eastern slope of the island for this Tuesday, December 31, the last day of the year 2024. The end of the year in the Canary Island will be marked by cloudy intervals in the interior areas during the afternoon and the possibility of some weak and isolated precipitation in the same area.

As for the temperature, it will be unchanged or slightly rising. For example, the minimum temperatures in Arrecife will be 14 degrees and the maximum 21. While throughout the island the wind will be weak from the northeast and the predominance of breezes during the central hours of the day.

As for the first day of 2025, the skies will dawn with few clouds and tend to be cloudy during the afternoon. In addition, weak scattered rains are not ruled out. Temperatures will remain in Lanzarote and La Graciosa with few changes, and there may even be a slight decrease. Thus, the wind will be weak from the northeast turning to the southeast in the western islands, where it will be more intense on northeast and southwest slopes during the central hours.
