Lanzarote starts the weekend with weather marked by wind, as the island could reach gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour on Friday and Saturday, although the intensity will decrease on Sunday.
This Friday, slightly cloudy skies predominate on the island, and a slight presence of haze is expected at altitude. As for temperatures, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicts that 30 degrees may be reached in the municipalities of Arrecife, Tías and Yaiza. As for the wind, it will be around 7:00 p.m. when gusts of wind of up to 70 kilometers per hour can be felt.
On Saturday, the slight haze at altitude will continue, and temperatures will remain unchanged from Friday. The wind will be from the northeast, more intense in the interior areas where the gusts of wind from the previous day can be reached.
Sunday will be marked by a slight decrease in temperatures, as well as wind gusts. According to Aemet, the maximum will be 50 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperatures in the capital will be 28 degrees, while the minimum will be 21.
