Lanzarote breaks record of Covid positives in one day with 352, according to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Active cases amount to 1,511 after 301 medical discharges in the last 24 hours.

The accumulated incidence at 7 days continues to grow until reaching 804.82 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, an increase of more than 140 points compared to the previous day. At 14 days it is already at 1,127 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 90 points more than the previous day.

As for the tests carried out, this Monday 1,748 were carried out, a quantity considerably higher than the previous day, when 1,518 were carried out.

It should be remembered that there are currently eleven people admitted to the Molina Orosa hospital with coronavirus, one of them, a 62-year-old man, in the ICU.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 9,687 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 8,123 have already overcome the disease and 55 have died.
