Lanzarote adds 201 positive cases of Covid and active cases begin to decrease

This Thursday, 334 epidemiological discharges have been reported on the island

Lanzarote has added 201 positive cases of Covid in the last day, in which more tests were carried out than the previous day. Specifically, there were 995, compared to 913 on Tuesday, when 309 positive cases were detected.

In addition, the number of active cases on the island has begun to decrease and the Ministry of Health places it this Thursday at 6,518, after 334 discharges have been reported.

Regarding the accumulated incidence, it has dropped 219 points in 7 days and is at 1,334 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. On the other hand, at 14 days, it has decreased 127 points compared to the previous day, and stands at 3,049 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 17,134 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 10,553 have already overcome the disease and 64 have died.
