The Casa-Museo del Timple in Teguise continues with its scheduled concerts. The guest for this occasion was the musician Juan Carlos de Mulder, born in Lima and based in Spain. Mulder is one of the most requested vihuela players in the field of early music, but he also plays other stringed instruments such as the archlute, the theorbo and the baroque guitar.
Juan Carlos de Mulder focused this concert, entitled "Il Canto del Liuto", on Italian music from the 17th century and the first half of the 18th century. The audience had the opportunity to listen to an archlute, an instrument similar to the lute in its shape, to which an additional neck is added to place six or seven more strings.
Mulder offered a careful selection of great masterpieces by the greats of music such as Alessandro Piccinini, Giovanni Zamboni Romano or Bernardo Giononcelli among others, without a doubt Juan Carlos de Mulder made the public enjoy a unique concert where his music transported them to another era. Once the concert was over, the Councilor for Culture, Olivia Duque, presented him with the poster announcing the concert.
