It was organized by the General Directorate of Centers, Infrastructure and Educational Promotion, through the Educational Programs and Extracurricular Activities Service. The head of the Educational Programs and Extracurricular Activities Service, José Antonio Quintana, also attended the event.

The Ministry of Education points out that these awards "value the integral development of students from the combination of contents that value heritage, material or immaterial aspects of the islands". In addition, they point out that the initiatives presented to the contest are linked to the localities where the respective educational centers are located, and in them different technological tools and resources were used such as the recording and editing of video, audio and photography.

Laly González remarked that these awards recognize "teamwork, the use of technology as a means to express the best of each and every one, and the ability to solve challenges, but also effort and self-confidence." "Audio and video come together to tell a story of learning, of illusion, of commitment and of love for the land", she added.
