The young Gloria Esther Sepúlveda from the Social and Cultural Collective Amigos de José Vélez will participate in the second edition of the program "¡Quiero Ser Como Pepe!" (I Want To Be Like Pepe!), from the Canarian Television. Next Wednesday, February 27, after passing the casting, Gloria will represent the island of Lanzarote. The Collective to which she has belonged since 2004, points out that they hope that "she will dazzle all of the Canary Islands with her voice, as "ISI" did", winner of the first edition, and other members of the Collective who also participated in this program".
Gloria Esther, who is currently studying at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, was the winner of the II Festival of Young Talents of Arrecife 2005. According to the organization, this year, the program will be broadcast live and will be directed by Ramón Plasencia. During 15 programs, "¡Quiero ser como Pepe!" (I Want To Be Like Pepe!) will give more than 80 singers the opportunity to sing for viewers from all the islands.
