Fourteen young women are vying for the title of Miss Arrecife and Queen of the San Ginés Festivities

This Monday, the fourteen candidates who are vying for the title of Miss Arrecife and Queen of the San Ginés 2018 Festivities were officially presented, a gala that will be held this Wednesday, August 22 at 9:00 p.m. in the Charco de San Ginés.

Álvaro Guerrero, who will be the artistic director of the gala this year, presented each of the young women together with Ruíz Martínez as master of ceremonies as they descended the stairs of the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz. Ruíz Martínez announced that the singers Yani Hernández, Juanjo López and the Ballet de la Rosa will perform at the gala.

During the presentation ceremony, the mayoress of Arrecife, Eva de Anta, wished them good luck and welcomed Álvaro Guerrero, who is making his debut as director of the gala. Likewise, the Councilor for Festivities, David Duarte, advised the young women to "experience the election as an enriching experience and enjoy these days to the fullest."

The candidates for this edition are Selena Hernández Álvarez, Nely Florenza Drummond Deeves, Irene Suárez Marcos, Lina Brañas Gouveira, Jennifer Rodríguez, Andrea Domínguez Rodríguez, Sara Navarro Martín, Nayara Iglesias Romero, Myrna Sterenberg, María Martín, Yazmina de la Caridad Ben Bouya, Enola Calero Roger, Vidina Dígala González and Hassnatou Daillo Martín.
