The Flora Acoge Foundation concentrated last Friday at the doors of the Cabildo in protest for the delay in the payment of subsidies from the First Institution as well as the Arrecife City Council, the Government of the Canary Islands and the other six city councils. On the part of the Cabildo, the item that will be allocated in these budgets approved this Friday is "100,000 euros", according to the Councilor for Social Welfare, Maite Corujo. The foundation announces more mobilizations and does not rule out carrying out the protests before the town halls.

The Canary Flora Acoge Foundation, which last May suspended the pharmacy and transport aid it offered due to the "delay in payment" of subsidies from the Cabildo de Lanzarote, the Government of the Canary Islands and the municipalities of the island, has closed its shelter "during the day".

"Without pharmacy aid, transportation, delay in the payment of payroll, and now the closure of the shelter during the day is added," they say from Flora Acoge, explaining that "without economic means that favor the continuity of services, the entity is forced to temporarily paralyze them, affecting this situation the 91 people who currently receive help and / or support from the foundation".
