The active cases of coronavirus have been reduced to 21 in Lanzarote with eight new patient discharges this Wednesday and no positive cases registered for the fifth consecutive day. Thus, the island remains with 84 accumulated cases.
The island now counts a total of 58 discharges since the beginning of the pandemic and five deaths. In the Molina Orosa Hospital there are five people admitted, one on the ward and four in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while in home isolation there are 16 people.
This Wednesday 109 samples were analyzed taken on the island, 90 of them from new patients, while the rest were repetitions or control tests. In those control tests to patients already diagnosed, three continued to test positive.
