The Agapito Reyes Viera de Altavista football stadium is ready to host the Fito & Fitipaldis and La Cabra Mecánica concert this Friday at 9:30 p.m. According to the organizers, 9,700 tickets have already been sold and it is expected that tomorrow more than 11,000 tickets will have been sold.
The security device for this concert will begin at 8:00 p.m., closing Fania street to traffic from 6:00 p.m. About ten local police officers and eight national police officers will control traffic and the interior of the venue, while three National Police vehicles and two Local Police patrols will patrol the streets near the stadium. Also, there will be 30 private security personnel and 20 controllers.
The show will have an equipment of 72,000 watts of sound, 100 mobiles to illuminate the stage with 300,000 watts of light and more than 100 square meters of LED screens. To facilitate access to the venue, the Spar supermarket parking lot will be enabled.
This concert is part of the Malpaís Performing Arts Festival, which will be held in Arrecife from March 26 to May 22. La Cabra Mecánica will begin its show at 9:30 p.m. and Fito & Fitipaldis will begin the concert at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Tickets for the concert continue to be on sale at Caja Tique, Luna Records, Kiosco de la Música, Suspuocious Style and Tsunami, at a price of 10 euros. At the box office, the cost of the same rises to 15 euros.
Malpaís 2010
After the Fito and La Cabra Mecánica concert, the festival will prepare for the arrival of Barricada on April 23, at the Arrecife Fairgrounds.
On April 30, the Malpaís Festival will take to the streets with the scenic experimentation company Voalá, which will use the Charco de San Ginés as the stage for its show.
On May 6, 7 and 8 it will be the turn of the circus show Circo Activo, with a street show "where the urban landscape is transformed into an intimate space and a source of inspiration for the clown and the magic of Pep Bruno's stories".
The farewell show of this festival is scheduled for May 21 and 22 in the José Ramírez Cerdá Park, with the Elliot show and the theater company The Chanclettes.
