"El Guanche", owned by José Daniel Bonilla and assigned to the El Calabazo breeding center of La Palma, was proclaimed absolute champion of the first Presa Canario competition, held last weekend at the Masdache teleclub. Specifically, the contest is named "Monographic and Theoretical-Practical Study of the Dogo Standard".
The contest, organized by Fran Viera and Ismael Villaba, members of the Lanzarote club of the Dogo-Presa Canario, in collaboration with the Tías City Council, included the participation of 22 dogs from Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and La Palma.
In addition, there was also "a large public attendance", according to the City Council.
