The Lanzarote Bartender Association celebrated the XXX Cocktail Competition last Friday, in the Long Drink modality for bartenders and young bartenders. The event took place at the facilities of the Vik Hotel San Antonio, in Puerto del Carmen.
In this edition, a total of 13 contestants participated, who surprised both the tasting jury and the public who came not only to encourage them, but to see with what agility they prepared the cocktails, which were later tasted by all the attendees.
Once the exhibition was over, both the contestants and the attending public moved to the hotel's dining room, where they enjoyed an extraordinary dinner buffet offered by the management of the Vik San Antonio Hotel.
After dinner, the jury's decision was announced, with the names of the winners who will be present at the national competition, which will be held next November in Asturias.
In the bartenders category, the winner was David Vázquez Troba, representative of the Budda Bar in Costa Calero, with the cocktail "Golmais". The winner of the young bartenders was Evel Achon Céspedes, representative of the Hotel San Antonio, with the cocktail called "Vanas".
