Daily Covid cases rise again in Lanzarote, with 121 positives in the last day, as reported by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands. A figure that had not been seen since last January in the middle of the third wave.
Active cases have also soared and now reach 624 after 15 medical discharges were recorded in the last 24 hours.
The cumulative incidence at 7 days has soared to 309.35 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, with an increase of almost 40 points compared to the previous day. At 14 days it is already at 456.32 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, also with an increase of 60 points compared to Tuesday.
Regarding diagnostic tests, 1,143 were performed this Tuesday, about 170 more than the previous day.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,413 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 7,736 have already overcome the disease and 54 have died.
