The students of the Playa Blanca Infant and Primary Education School and the TAO unit, have won the first two prizes of the school contest 'Recycling is Easy, do you sign up?', in the category of 'A Recycled Christmas'. They have been awarded for their original Christmas decoration proposals, made in their facilities with recycled waste. The CEIP Playa Blanca has won the first prize for the best decorated educational center, while the TAO Unit Center has obtained the award in the Recycled Classroom category.
The Councilor for Youth of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Migdalia Machín, and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Marciano Acuña, traveled this Wednesday to the two winning centers to personally present these school awards.
