Canary Islands women are the most unfaithful in Spain, according to data from AshleyMadison.com, a website dedicated to helping married men and women have an "understated" affair.
The website has more than 24,000 residents in the Canary Islands registered and shows that the Canary Islands is the Autonomous Community with the highest percentage of registered women in all of Spain, specifically 40.2 percent. However, in the case of the island of El Hierro, it stands out for only hosting unfaithful men.
Infidelity, according to this website, is concentrated on the islands of Gran Canaria and Tenerife, which group 49 percent and 42 percent of users, respectively. This difference makes Gran Canaria the "most unfaithful" island of all, concentrating almost half of the Canary Islanders registered on this website.
In Lanzarote, the youngest

As for the islands of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island of Tenerife not only stands out for being the second most unfaithful in the entire archipelago, but also hosts the highest rate of married people looking for an affair (82.6 percent) in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as well as the highest rate of dissatisfied housewives in search of an extramarital affair registered in San Cristóbal de La Laguna (38.4 percent).
La Palma is not only characterized for being the beautiful island, but also for being the island with the highest rate of people interested only in a sporadic relationship (53.9 percent). Its neighbor, La Gomera, on the other hand, stands out for having the highest rate of men and women who want a long-term affair in the entire archipelago (73.6 percent). Finally, and despite being the most faithful of all, El Hierro stands out for being the only one in which all unfaithful users are exclusively men.
Professions
Apart from the reasons why they are encouraged to be unfaithful, Canary Islands users also share something in common: their professional profile. Hoteliers are the most willing to have an affair. In fact, 31 percent of men and 22 percent of women who have registered on this website to satisfy their sexual and emotional needs are dedicated to the world of hospitality.
Among the other professions, businessmen (13 percent) and sales representatives (12 percent) stand out among men, and nurses (15 percent) and teachers (14 percent) among women.
